Remove Genieo from Internet Explorer

Reset Home page

  1. From the IE Tools menu, open the Internet Options dialog
    options
  2. In the General tab, Home page section, replace the URL with your preferred home page URL (e.g. www.google.com)

    3. Reset Default Search Provider

    1. From the IE Tools menu, open the Manage Add-ons dialog

    2. Click the Search providers tab in the left navigation bar.

    3. Note that Search the web is set as your default.
    4. Click to select any of the other available search providers and then click the button at the bottom right – this will set your preferred default search provider.
    5. If you wish to completely remove Genieo’s search provider, click to select Search the web, and then click the Remove button at the bottom right
