Job Description

The Online Community Manager will be in charge of the main marketing efforts for the community (including social/viral marketing, email marketing and more), maintaining a live and active relationship with contributors and managing various aspects of our blog/website content.

The ideal candidate will have an undeniable passion for social media marketing, as well as good understanding and experience in customer service, technology and traditional marketing.

Responsibilities

Technical

• Manage interaction with our Alpha users, answering product questions, manage Facebook and web site blog and our company official Twitter account.
• Function as primary point of contact between consumers and Genieo (emails etc.)
• Track Google Analytics.

Content

• Manage and moderate discussion groups for appropriate content and terms of use violations.
• Create and maintain strategic discussion groups for community benefit and support these groups with content, ideas, etc.
• Post news articles to maintain fresh content; publish news and updates.
• Create, send and track email campaigns soliciting donations, announcing important updates, etc.
• Social events associate

Social Media

• Manage content creation, administration, and Genieo’s users engagement.
• Presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Yahoo and other social media channels
• Identify additional opportunities to engage users via social media (e.g., Flickr, Meetup, etc.)
• Drive traffic to the Genieo Website and product by via external social media channels
• Recruit and oversee volunteer community leaders to help manage online content and activities, as needed.

Strategic

• Ensure all content posted is optimized for maximum search engine ranking
• Implement social media best practices across all formal channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) to maximize user engagement with Genieo
• Build monthly reporting matrix to track progress and make additional recommendations
• Maintain and update social media strategy based on new tools and technologies
• Contribute to business development efforts to identify and form content partnerships
• Create and manage advertising and fund-raising campaigns

Qualifications

Candidates for this position must have a keen attention to detail and quality focus, with demonstrated online management experience and at least the following:

• Demonstrated background in cultivating online communities (including private communities, Facebook Fan Pages, Twitter, etc.)
• Ability to creatively use social media and Web 2.0 capabilities by proactively seeking out new tools to engage Genieo community and increase contributions
• 2+ years experience in online marketing, email marketing, or web project management
• 2+ web strategy development and implementation
• Documented hands-on experience with web technologies, analytics and basic HTML
• Excellent communication/copywriting and analytical skills
• Perfect English

Conditions

This role is sedentary and will require continuous use of the computer to perform the functions correctly over 80% of the time.
SALARY Commensurate with experience.

Algorithms developer

We are looking for bright and hungry candidates. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing of Genieo core algorithmic system. We seek candidate with algorithmic background, strong programming skills and hands-on capabilities. We are looking for very smart people with strong delivery capabilities.

Requirements

• Ms.c in Computer Science / Software Engineering from accredited university. Grades’ average of 85 or higher.
• Proven record of excellence (University distinctions, grades, army elite units etc)
• Experience in data mining or text mining
• Analytical orientation to problem solving
• Knowledge of OOD/ OOP
• Experience in Java development
• Excellent human relations
• A “Getting things done” guy

Advantage

• Experience in text mining is a Hugh advantage.
• Significant experience in Java development
• Experience in natural language processing
• Experience in web mining & internet technologies

Algorithms/Text mining star

We are looking for an algorithms star. The smartest guy around, creative and a getting things done guy. We seek exceptional individual, smart, with the ability to solve problems in new simple and effective ways. We are looking for algorithms expert that will do both research and implementation; candidate with understanding of business problems, knowledge and experience in the field of data mining and text mining and the wisdom and creativity to combine both

Requirements:

• PHD (possibly MSC) in Computer Science/ Math/ physics or other relevant field
• Experience in text mining, NLP and Data mining
• Desire to be part of the core team of a young startup.
• A “Getting things done” guy
• Good sense of humor
