Sales Director

Genieo is looking for proven experienced sales manager, Director/VP level that will grow its distribution business around the world and will take a lead role in identifying, developing and closing new businesses and partnerships. The position requires a complete hands-on responsibility of the entire sales cycle in order to meet challenging and rewarding sales targets (from prospecting potential leads to closing deals). This is an incredible opportunity to make a significant impact on the rapidly-growing company. This position is based in Hertzelia, Israel and will report to the CEO.

Responsibilities

• Independently identify, build relations with and close distribution agreements with independent software vendors around the world.
• Proactively engage negotiation of new sales opportunities.
• Acquire new partners – establishing, maintaining and leveraging positive business links within them at all levels.
• Qualify and close open pipeline within agreed timeframes for key opportunities.
• Take sole responsibility for the achievement of personal sales targets.
• Develop and execute strategies and actions to maintain target attainment or address any deficit to the annual operating plan.
• Produce forecasts, sales and activity reports and plans and any additional required information on a weekly basis or upon request.
• Plan and maintain a level of productivity that is commensurate with territory target attainment.
• Deliver total revenue figures which are in line with the business plan and budget.
• Build and manage pipeline of prospects
• Pre and post sales responsibility
• Maintain open communications formally and informally with the internal sales and partnerships team keeping them up to date with movements and plans whilst capturing and driving all potential business.

Algorithms/Text mining star

We are looking for an algorithms star. The smartest guy around, creative and a getting things done guy. We seek exceptional individual, smart, with the ability to solve problems in new simple and effective ways. We are looking for algorithms expert that will do both research and implementation; candidate with understanding of business problems, knowledge and experience in the field of data mining and text mining and the wisdom and creativity to combine both

Requirements:

• PHD (possibly MSC) in Computer Science/ Math/ physics or other relevant field
• Experience in text mining, NLP and Data mining
• Desire to be part of the core team of a young startup.
• A “Getting things done” guy
• Good sense of humor

Advantage:

• Experience in text mining is a Hugh advantage.
• Knowledge of Java Experience in Java development
